In 2008 Billy Carri released his first Solo CD, "The Guy In The Glass". With such fan favorites and "Sins", "Punchline" and "Goodbye Yesterday" the cd was well received and was a great starting point for him.
Now 2009 brings more challenges. With his sights set firmly on releasing another as yet untitled solo release, Billy is working diligently in the recording studio during his free time from recording other artists, to come up with a new CD which will top his previous effort. While writing punchy new songs like "Beauty Inside" and "Hurt" and the heart felt ballad "Perfect" he is also revisiting songs written for Exit 97 (unreleased) like "Friends" and "Roses"
When asked when to expect this new cd Billy only smirks and replies "Well, when its done of course!" and goes on about his business. Whether playing his heart out with his band or pouring it out playing acoustic, Billy Carri is ALWAYS there to do one thing. Entertain his ever growing fan base and make people forget about their own problems, if only for a little while.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY (just a little early!) its been very nice hangin' out with you and Heather here and there the past few months, hope to do lots more of that in the future :)
