I think I do the laid-back country-folk singer-songwriter thing pretty well, and I've written some halfway-decent songs about good times and getting into jams that I suppose just about everyone can relate to. In addition to the solo thing, I also contribute songs, guitar and words to a couple bands, both found here on MySpace: THE LONESOME TUMBLERS and THE CHAUNCERS. Another project still crystallizing and without a MySpace page is THE BIRD BRAYNZ.
Over the last few years I've traveled with my guitar throughout Ohio and Kentucky, up to Detroit and Chicago, down into Nashville and Memphis, over to New York, Jersey and into Philly, and plenty of other spots in-between. I made a lot of new drinking pals along the way.
I've performed and recorded since '89 with rock, garage, punk, psychedelic and avant-garde/experimental groups, and I've developed a habit of producing a mountain of home recordings along the way. If there's anything else you want to know, you can just ask me.
My latest release, "Half A Jug Full = NO DEAL," will soon be available on Cincinnati-based Tokyo Rose Records. I'll also be appearing on Ann Arbor-based ARBCO's upcoming 7-inch compilation, which should also be along any day now.
I also have top-notch shirts and stickers available. If you'd like to get your hands on either, just drop me a line.
"Another aspect of the psychedelic vision for me that has been very profound, is the sense that everything is alive or at that at least, there is no distinction between what we call living and non-living."
