Hello my name is Billy Croft and I live in Elburn, IL with my wife, two kids and my dog named Cody. I have lived here in IL all my life and I must say that I'm very proud of that! I started making music professionally about six years ago when I recorded my first c.d. in Nashville, TN.. I started writing and playing Christian music about three years ago and recorded my first all original Christian c.d. with a group called "Unified". Shortly after that I signed with NuWay Records out of Nashville and recorded "Started With A Child" that recieved radio airplay last Christmas through out the mid-west. Currently I am writing new material for my next recording project.

"I'd rather be a could-be if I cannot be an are; because a could-be is a maybe who is reaching for a star. I'd rather be a has-been than a might-have-been, by far; for a might have-been has never been, but a has was once an are. " -Milton Berle
Just finally have a chance to write and tell you how much I enjoyed hearing you play at the Den last weekend. You have a glow about you and a "lightness" that is new. I am really enjoying your music more and you just seem in a really good place! Thanks also for the kind words. I just feel very very lost right now. I am having many doubts about what I have to bring to the table so to say. Dave would say I am in a major time of attack I guess. Hard to get out of it without him here sitting down and praying with me. That is what I am finding I miss the most. His prayers. Thanks for the offer about writing to. I have way too many lyrics that are going nowhere right now. I wish I could come out this friday but, I also remembered Mercy has asked that I play "He Reigns" and another song or 2 at her show friday. Hopefully I can make it to one in the future. Many Blessings to you, Billy!!
Hey buddy, Gabe and I are praying for you and your family. We pray he lifts you all and you feel the safe secure comfort of his love. Stay strong! ~Edith
Hi Billy this is Jean what does waiting for the christ child mean is it a new song you are making or have made or going to make just curious thanks Jean Dillow
"Hope deferred maketh the heart sick"...Prov 13:12a. What happened to the song you were sending?? Can hardly wait to hear it...your melodies are always so good!! If OK with you, I'd like to see if I can figure out where you're at on chords and try to master it & my guitar playing well enough to do on open mic nite @ the Den. Have a vocalizer to enhance my voice but could sure use a lot more self-confidence .....pray, OK? Thanks!
