Billy England formed officially in Liverpool in January 2006.
Ben (vocals / guitar) and Liam (drums / vocals) used to play in The Mighty Saguaro. They died in March 2004. They were quite good. Liam also played in I Am Mike who died late 2005 and also Crocodile God. Pooley and Liam also play in The Dry Retch.
Dan started the first incarnation of the band in 2004. He is technically the only original member. Ben joined, then Liam joined, then Pooley joined.
They play kind of guitar based post-punk indie rock.
And, crucially, as of about January 2009, are in an indefinite hiatus and are unlikely to be playing again any time soon.
