    Bill Benson started playing drums when he was five years old. Raised on the south side of Chicago IL., Billy always knew no matter what kind of music he played, his heart has always been into country music. Billy has played in many different bands and all styles of music. His life long goal has been to find the right band to tour and play music with professionally. Since he never found the right fit that he was looking for as a drummer, he turned to the guitar skills his father taught him at age thirteen to develop a style all his own. The sound is inspired by his lifelong connection with music. Through his music, Billy express the feelings of both love and pain he's experienced throughout life. He likes to write songs from the heart and emotionally connects with the audiences expressing what he's learned about love, life and what matters. Right now Billy is working with Skip Mitchell recording new songs for a brand new album. Billy just released his first song since 2009 called "I an't chang'in for noth'in". Now the world can hear the type of sound Billy is looking for.
