Billy G. Camp Band
Gram Parsons, Tom Waits, Junior Brown, The Rolling Stones, early Crue, John Hiatt, The Beatles, DBT, My Morning Jacket, Beck, Vic Chesnutt, Leonard Cohen, Drivin n' Cryin, Wilco, Sublime, Southern Culture on the Skids, Townes Van Zandt, The Allman Brothers Band, James McMurtry, John Prine, Guy Clark, and Steve Earle.
I was born and raised in Greenwood, SC back when Gram Parsons was out in L.A. mixing country and rock n' roll. After playing bass in a bunch of SC bands in the late 80's and 90's, I bought me a pawn shop acoustic and did what all good troubadors should do...hit the road in search of my wrong-eyed muse. In 2004, I landed in Boise, ID with a collection of original tunes that draw from a wide range of musical styles. I call it Alt. Country-Folkadelica. It's a dose of country and folk injected with rock n' roll, turntables, and good vibes. My new CD is called "Don't Stop The Carnival" and it's a hell of a good time.

Howdy! Just letting our Boise MySpace friends know... The Invasion will be playing their first show at the VAC on Wednesday with Le Fleur, The Universal, and The Neon Trees. This is one of the best local lineups, and we've heard great things about the sound in the VAC!
Howdy! Hope this finds all well. Just a short note to say "Gitchyer Daddy a Beer" is included in today's Longtown Sound 434. Thanks for sharing your music with the Longtown listeners on WLSO. FM -unc.
Everyone is great! How about there? Brandon finished TFM, YIPPY!! Kids are getting too big too fast! No trips to Boise that I know of, although we really wanted to come to your benefit concert. How was it? Good turn out? If we get down that way we'll let you know! Hugs to your family from all of us! Take care!
