Formed in 1997 and influenced by bands like Kyuss, Monster Magnet e Fu Manchu, BillyGoat went into Black Sabbath, Blue Cheer, Grand Funk e other 70’s heavy rock bands prophecy making songs mixing punch and psychedelia with lot of grooves. In the early 1998 the band finish but came back in September of 2002 and keep on the road until today.
In 2003 the band did many shows and in 2004 The band made part of the first South American Stoner Rock Compilation called "Loco Gringos Have a Party". In 2005 they released a EP called "Spaceman Blues" which are part of a 3 way split called "Playing at the Sun" (with the brothers Flaming Moe and SonicVolt). In 2009 the band began to record singles to be released during the year.
