He performed on Billy’s albums Songs In The Attic, 52nd Street, Stranger, Glass Houses, Turnstiles, River Of Dreams and 2000 Years-The Millennium Concert. Cannata was the original saxophonist in Billy Joel’s band from 1974 to 1985 and recently toured with Billy again in 2006. He also regularly tours with the Beach Boys. I wanted to wish you all a happy thanksgiving. I'm very thankful for the opportunity to have gotten to seen your live shows and to have met you all. Each of you are incredible. I know Michael says "Well, it's Billy's music, what's not to like," but really, no need to be modest, even Billy thinks you guys rock.

Just have to tell you guys i saw you last night on The Rockin The River Cruise one of the many venues that i have seen you perform at.You guys are by far the best cover band i have ever seen.Mike is there any song you dont sing to perfection?I was blown away when you sang Dream On by Areosmith i was like holly Sh_t he will never hit the high note at the end but damn dude it was utter perfection.The price to see you guys was worth every penny.And to those who havent seen Big Shot i suggest you do so you will be utterly amazed at this bands talent.
Just want stop by and commend you guys for another awsum show.I just saw you guys at Branford at there father day weekend extravaganza.(What a crowd)I have to tell you i traveled almost 2 hours to be there just to see you guys .You guys are the only tribute band that i have traveled such a distance for.Your shows truly portray the essense of a live Billy Joel show.I am in awe everytime i see you.. Oh and Mike thanks for playing Maybe i Am Amazed at Branford i asked my gf to go up and ask if you could do it and you did.I want to again thank you for that..(you rock)You guys are the best..
