Hi. My name is Billy Kess and this is my official website. Well, my real website that changes constantly is Long Island Patriot or lipatriot.com which is kind of a news and opinion site where I personally pick and choose the headlines and photos and links and videos that go up on a daily basis. (sometimes it is updated several times a day).
The site basically reflects my own views on events that I deem newsworthy and opinion columns and other links I feel the need to share. I also provide many links to places where the visitors can speak out for themselves. Forums such as News 12, Long Island Soundoff board and topix and Free Republic. All require registration, but it is free and quick.
I focus not only on local events and issues, but national and world wide as well. A lot of my focus is on the conservative things that I am most passionate about. Abortion and Illegal Immigration to name a couple. In any case, most of what you see here will be stories the mainstream media won't tell you - so don't expect any "Obama is great" links. He's not. And the only time you're going to see any brainwashed, know-nothings chanting "O-BA-MA, O-BA-MA, O-BA-MA" like they're taking part of some ritual in The Congo will be when I'm making fun of them.
I am pro-life, yes, and I am sick and tired of being considered "anti-choice" or "anti-women". I think that is a ridiculous label used to put a smoke-screen on the horrors of what abortion really is. We in the prolife movement are not "freaks". We are not "radicals". Take a look at the people holding signs that read "Abortion on demand" and "Keep abortion legal" if you want to see what radicals are. They are the real haters and the real radicals of society. And if they want to call prolife people "anti-choice" - which is absurd, I will refer to them as what they are - pro-abortion.
Seriously - the next time you see a pro-abortion rally, take a look at these people - look into their eyes. They have no soul. Their faces are all grimaced with hate. Which brings me to feminism.
Again, I am not anti-women. I am actually pro-human. I think feminism is a good thing. But the problem is - these pro-abortion groups have used feminism to hide under so that they can promote their bloody baby-killing agenda. Planned Parenthood, National Organization for Women - these groups are not feminist. They are feminazis, if anything. They don't care about the women being stoned to death in Islamic states across the world for petty crimes like adultary. They only seem to get riled up about one thing. Abortion. Any prolife legislation and there they are - demanding it to be slapped down and claiming to speak for all women.
They don't understand - or they just don't care - that abortion actually HURTS women. National Organization of Women are feminazis. True feminists can be found at feministsforlife.org.
I am anti-illegal immigration. This does not mean I am racist against hispanics or latinos. It means I want our laws enforced. I am actually pro-immigration if and when it is done legally. We don't know who these people are. There's a guy in your neighbor's backyard with a leaf-blower on his back... who is to say this guy isn't wanted in El Salvador for rape and murder? I mean who is to say? Not to mention they are bleeding us dry. They are becoming an eye-sore as well. Sleeping in the woods in the very towns we used to cherish. They are destroying the quality of life and taking our jobs and draining our resources.
Not only that, but terrorists can easily slip into our country by hopping over the border. We need to secure it and we need to do so NOW.
I do not hate homosexuals. Although I feel their behavior or 'lifestyle' is not normal. I see it as being something abnormal and even quite disgusting - and I say this as politely as possible. I feel it is a sin against God and marriage is something that needs to be kept between a man and a woman. And I will speak out when I see unfairness being displayed against Christians and other groups of people who disagree with gay marriage. And I will speak out when I see children in public schools being brainwashed and indoctrinated by this agenda. But again, I do not hate them.
If I found out my best friend was gay, it wouldn't be him having to worry about whether I would stop being his friend or not. I would still be his friend. I would still go out for a beer with him. I would still talk to him online. I would still pick him up and take him to the store if his car broke down. He would not have to worry about me. It would actually be me who would be worried because now I would start thinking that maybe he will stop being friends with me because of my beliefs and my own values. I will disagree with his lifestyle and what he does in his own bedroom, and I will still be anti-gay marriage and these things may be what makes him end the friendship. He may end the friendship because I - unlike others who would lie rather than offend someone - would be brutally honest with him about how I felt. But I would not end the friendship over it.
I believe every law abiding citizen should be allowed to own a gun. I believe they should also be allowed to carry it wherever they go. In NY, gun laws are plentiful and it is very hard, if not impossible, for a regular guy to legally own and carry a gun. You want to see a significant drop in home break-ins? Allow citizens to own guns! There are very few home invasions in the more gun friendly states.
Look at it this way. In the more gun friendly states, you don't see a lot of the crimes you see in NY. In NY, for instance, if a group of men barged into a diner and demanded that everyone get on the floor as they go to each person and take all their money and jewelery, empty the cash register, and go - they have a good chance of getting away with it - as chances are, no one in that diner would be armed. But in Nevada or Florida or another state, these thugs know they are risking the possibility of a regular patron - a normal citizen - putting a bullet into their head. You know, someone who just got back from the firing range and decided to stop off at the diner for a bite to eat - whips out his .45 and puts holes in these thugs.
In NY, we would be helplessly at their mercy.
And the mainstream media - liberally biased in every way - never or rarely posts any articles about how many women stop some psycho from raping her because she was armed with a gun and knew how to use it.
Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, and the rest of the race-baiting jerks of society should all take a flying leap. Any black person who clings to these morons deserves the misery they get. Black people can be just as productive and successful as anyone else and they do not need these police-demonizing schmucks to tell them different. We don't need affirmative action. Not only is it discriminating against white people, but it's embarassing for non-whites. If you're a black person, do you really feel you need to start off with an extra 10 points on your civil service exam? If so, then more power to you. I guess you really are a dependent loser who needs government assistance.
And no. I am not racist. I just tell it like it is.
