Influences
check out my top friends. that's the tip of the proverbial iceberg.
Image Of Love was recorded in 1989 by The Broadcasters. It was produced by Larry Alexander and Lenny Kaye (Patti Smith Group) for a CD called Walk Like Thunder. It was never released because the band broke up ... blah, blah, blah. It features Lenny on keyboards (his keyboard debut). It was supposed to be the follow up to 13 Ghosts by the Broadcasters released in 1987 on Enigma Records and distributed by Capital. The video for the single "Down In The Trenches", can be seen (and heard) at Blackie @ Tubesville's myspace blog.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2 of the other 3 tunes are Finn & the Sharks. "Growin' Up Evil" was recorded by the Quakes in the late 80's. The Wheels Start Turning here is the original recording from the Innercity Rockabilly CD released only on vinyl in 1981 on Rebel Records. The CD they are on is called "Breakfast Special" and it is, as yet, unreleased. The last song is I Ain't Broke I'm Shattered and that one is on One Way Track (UpSouth Recordings) and performed by Lucky 7.
