It's all about good songs. And BillySad from Mainz, Germany have been pouring them out since 1999. Their straight punk rock tunes have that certain melancholy feel to them, fusing an icy sadness with kick ass attitude and ironic twists, exploring the borderlines of the band's self-imposed reduction. Less is more, so don't expect any boring distractions. Count to four and prepare to hop. Or just turn up the volume and get ready for a treat.
BillySad have found a comfortable space somewhere between punk rock, indie rock and emo core, equally flirting with both harmony and noise. Their first release -"hitsingle collection vol. 3 (1971-2002)"- left reviewers begging for a full-length album and fans begging for excessive touring. But some line-up-changes provided unexpected bumps on the road to fame. Back with a bang in 2005 the band released their 2nd cd "You bad. Me good.", presenting a more focused style and even catchier songs. Once more the results were raving reviewers, a begging crowd and some unexpected line-up-changes.
Sometimes they come back again, though, more rocking than ever and with new stuff in the making. So here you go.

Ha, wenn das mal nichts ist! Wer da wohl am Ende die Nase vorn haben wird? Wird es unschöne Szenen geben oder verläuft alles fair? Lassen wir uns überraschen. Wir versprechen auf jeden Fall: Von unserer Seite wird es keine Blutgrätschen geben, höchstens ein sauberes Tackling. Also kommen und weitersagen
