Billy Swayze is a contemporary performing artist from Southern Kentucky. He began writing and recording songs at the age of 14, influenced by American and British bands such as Ambulance LTD, The Beatles, Coldplay, Doors, Doves, Pink Floyd, Pixies, Radiohead, Shins, Elliott Smith, Joy Division and The Smiths.
Billy's new debut full CD "Attack The Situation" releases on Laser Lane records on June 14th, 2007. The CD of 11 new songs was produced with his longtime songwriting partner, James Pearson and recorded at Pearsonart Studio in Franklin from November 2006 to March 2007.
