Basically I'm just another guitar player from Texas, although It's probably more accurate to say I'm a Guitarist , Singer, Songwriter & Producer.
I've been singing since I can remember and playing guitar since age 8. I've been performing since about 9 or 10. I made my first recording at 12. It went vinyl! Although I majored in music during college, I don't think it hurt my playing much.
Over the years I've played with a lot of different people in a variety of styles including Linda Davis, Steve Holy, Kimarie Lynn, Katelyn Hobson, Lantana, Mike Carney, The Shirelles, Lou Christie, Pauline Reese, The Dallas Cowboys, Johnnie High's Country Music Review, Miranda Lambert, NTSU Lab Band, Matt Bissonette, Rayburn Anthony & others too numerous to mention.
In the last few years I've been producing and writing a lot more. I've produced albums for Kimarie Lynn & Katelyn Hobson. Songs I've written have been recorded by Pauline Reese, Katelyn Hobson & a few other independent artists.
Recently I've been hard at work on my own album. I hope to have it out sometime this year. I'll get some samples on here soon.
As far as what I'm interested in, that would be guitars, music, watching my kids grow & prosper, submarines, history and trivia. I have a reasonable collection of guitars and a mind that has been described as a vast storehouse of useless information.
I enjoy all types of music when done well and respect any true musician in any style. I can't really stomach fakers, liars and frauds and I just don't have time for buttholes anymore. (then what am I doing in the music business?)
I'm interested in meeting musicians, performers and fans of good music. As I said, style doesn't really matter but quality does. So if you at all enjoy what I do, let me know. I'd love to hear what you do.
In the meantime, thanks for listening.
This guy hand-makes some of the best guitars on planet earth. He's currently building one for me;
New pics, new videos and new LIVE tunes going up today! Let me know what you think! Sending some ATX (that's Austin Texas) love out to everyone. Ruby Jane
