Dancing, reading, dancing, cooking, eating and eating out, dancing, making new friends, exercising, shopping, traveling, learning about different cultures and languages (I'm fluent in Italian and right now I am fascinated with Brazilian language and culture), listening to good music, and, oh, did I mention that I like to dance?
Music
I really have ecclectic tastes when it comes to music but when it comes to dancing, I love salsa!
I do enjoy movies and I really like foreign and independent films and some documentaries. Some of my favorite foreign films are: "Central do Brasil", "Shall We Dance (the original Japanese version, "Wings of Desire", "Far Away, So Close", "La Vita e.. Bella", "King of Masks", "Hero", "Ponette", "Il Postino", "Orfeu Negro", and "Architecture of Doom". Others include "The Other Side of Heaven", "To Kill a Mockingbird", "It's a Wonderful Life", "A Man for All Seasons", "Napoleon Dynamite", "Strictly Ballroom", "Malcolm X", "The Mission" and all of Wallace and Gromit's stuff.
Television
Sorry, I really don't watch much TV although I am a big fan of "Dancing with the Stars" and "Globetrekker" (Ian & Megan are my favs) and watch those shows if I am home. I would much rather be doing rather than watching. Still, watching these shows are a great inspiration.

Books
I'm always reading books for self improvement, whether it's financially related, relationship related, or character building. Perhaps the best book that covers all of the above that I tend to re-read is the Book of Mormon.
I also like to read books in other languages such as Italian, Portugues, and Spanish. Soon I will start learning Chinese.
Heroes
Okay, Steve Jobs is NOT one of my personal heroes but I put him here because I thought this was a pretty cool speech. It makes me feel better about taking a lot of fun classes in college however somehow I still can't seem to make the billions he has.

I consider myself a friendly, easy to approach, easy to talk to kind of gal. I love learning and enjoy hanging out with intelligent people who also love to learn. Though I have a lot of opinions and strong ideas, I enjoy hearing other people's points of view and learning from their perspective. We all have something to learn from each other, don't we?
I love life and I although I'm not very good at it, I love to dance. I love salsa, merengue, cumbia, samba, pagode, (I want to learn forro..), big band swing, lindy hop, country western, and even some ballroom. Basically, if it's fun and has a lively beat, I'll dance to it! Do you have a great place to recommend in Southern Cal? Seriously, lemme know! Let's go dancing!
I really enjoy traveling and embracing new cultures and learning new languages. Currently I speak Italian and Portuguese and a little Spanish. I would like to learn more languages - especially to get proficient in Spanish and Chinese. I've lived in Italy, traveled through most of Western Europe, to Japan, Hong Kong, and Macau and now my next goal is to travel to Brazil, China, and return to Italy.
