Bynar was beamed down to planet Earth the year Suicide released their debut album. Growing up with the sounds of The Cure, Depeche Mode and Joy Division, he never managed to figure out whether Friends Are Electric or Androids Dream of Electric Sheep and decided to become a computer scientist, hoping to find the answer to life, universe and everything (no, it's NOT 42!).
During his never-ending quest to get his PhD, Bynar travelled to Athens, Ediburgh, London and finally ended up in Salonica. In an ironic twist of fate he became a resident DJ at the infamous "Berlin" (i.e. the dodgiest bar in town), spinning everything from Indie to Gothic, Electro and Synthpop. In the past few months he's been playing Guitar Hero, uploading podcasts and swabbing the decks at a secret Naval Base.
If you want to check out Bynar's DJ picks, visit his blog and grab his Indie Disco podcasts from djbynar.com. Last but not least, tune in @ waveradio.gr (Tuesdays, 8-10 PM +2GMT). For DJ bookings, drop him an e-mail and who knows, if he's on shore leave he might pop up and rock your house down!

Abstractive Noise "Mind Corrupter" EP net-release (cc) [IAd001]
Abstractive Noise, an experimental / music project of Panagiotis Pagonis, offers Impulsive Art the debut release of the new creative common net-releases [IAd001] series.
Experimenting with algorithmic composition and mathematic probabilities, Mind Corrupter build up an extraordinary glitchy, "random", bizarre, broken rhythmical complexity.
Hey you! That was a very creative time period for Cinemascope i should say... 3 new tracks uploaded on our player and a lot more are ready to bang your ears sometime soon! But, for the moment, here are our 3 new tracks: Our current favourite is Dancing - Dancing, a dark wave dancefloor track that could be described as a Bauhaus light version (kick in the eye or sanity assasin maybe) and it was realy fun at the making... we were that close to turn it to dark wave version of 'straftanz' using lyrics that includes names of Greek dark wave clubs like 'dancing, dancing under the Dark Sun - dancing, dancing at the Rebound etc' but no... we kept it minimal... maybe we should include the straftanz version like a bonus on the 12'' single (yeah right! Ha!). Whispering Lovesongs reminds us a little bit of the Bad Seeds (at least the backing vocals at the refrain) and this song would be cool on stage (if we ever do a live show or something...hmmm) and The Blind Man's Song is something like a Cure romantic ballad of the Kiss me or Head on the Door era... but without lyrics for the moment... You can find all three new songs on the top of our player, hope you like them and please send us a note if you do.
