On their debut album, Binary Spirals plays jazz fusion that draws from Jeff Lorber, Steely Dan, and The Police, as well as some blues and funk.


Songs like Moving Pivots is funky in a contemporary, smooth jazz way while For Jane evokes the sultry jazz singer in a smoky cafe, before slipping into a smooth Samba.
