THE STORY:
In the past year I have seen strength and support that is inspiring, and found strength within myself. Two years ago my father was diagnosed with terminal Brain Cancer, four months later my mom was hit with Stage III Breast Cancer. In the middle of losing her hair and having a lumpectomy my mother forged ahead with her only focus... my father. Due to complications, she contracted infections and was sent to the hospital twice, but the only thing on her mind was her family. Me on the other hand had a lot of soul searching to do.
THE IDEA:
As I was surrounded by all this pain, I looked around and realized I needed to help others. I picked up my video camera and with my mom's permission(KIND OF),I set forth and im still in production a documentary about my parents life called "Bincent and Balerie" where 100 percent of the profits will go to Cancer research. Im still looking for investors, musicians for the soundtrack, and distribution.
THE PLAN:
I want to show other families that no matter how bad it gets, if you truly fight you can find strength you never knew you had. Through out the filming process you could see my mother going through so much, trying to take care of herself all while trying to keep her husband of 35 years alive.
To do my part I started the "Fight Cancer Festival" a venue that is free to non-profits where all types of people can find help and support, through food, music, and fundraising.I'm also looking for members to join the "Fight Cancer Foundation," a soon-to-be non-profit where my company, Hillside Media Productions, LLC are interviewing for volunteers and people to sit on the board of directors.
THE FUTURE:
I will be shooting another documentary on Breast Cancer this fall about a very strong woman who beat Breast Cancer twice with no chemo.If you would like help or need a video to help fight Cancer for your organization, then please reach out and my company Hillside Media Productions,LLC will do everything in our power to "FIGHT CANCER TOGETHER" Check out www.hillsidemedia.tv for more info.

THE FESTIVAL:
Last year, July 29th 2006 HMP teamed up with The Make A Wish foundation of New Jersey and Alex's Lemonade Stand to have the 1st annual FIGHT CANCER FESTIVAL. Over $2000 was raised.
last year was bigger than ever. It took place right on the beach with 7 local bands playing all through the day. This event is not to be missed. We also had food by some of the shore's greatest restaurants! .. BE THERE THIS YEAR SEPTEMBER 13TH BELMAR NJ FROM 12PM TO 7PM THEN AFTER PARTY AT MY FAVORITE BAR CONNOLLY STATION WITH LIVE MUSIC AND DRINK SPECIALS!!
