As anyone who has seen their live set will tell you,“The Binge” possess that very rare combination of unstoppable energy, ‘boom-bap’ beats, killer flows and lyrics of real substance. The 3 piece on stage line-up of MC Rinse, beatmaker Aeon and DJ 2Buck exploded onto the Sydney scene in 2005 and have since built a formidable live reputation around the country. Joined in the studio by PSYKEone, the Binge have built a
trademark sound that has dominated Sydney’s underground. But perhaps the ultimate endorsement came in the form of an invitation to join Sydney’s Basic Equipment Crew and soon saw them supporting the legendary Def Wish Cast around the country on their
‘Legacy Continues’ album tour.
The 2007 release of the Bingethinkers mixtape ‘Shelf Life’ stood head and shoulders above the usual mixtape crowd in its ambitious sound and scope.
Featuring guests such as 13th Son, Scott Burns, Rainman, Immune and Calski and typical of the way in which the group treats all their work, the Shelf Life
‘mixtape’ was immediately acclaimed for its use of all-original beats, slick production values and a distinct lack of throw-away verses. In fact the high quality of this unofficial release has prompted many in the scene to consider ‘Shelf Life’ as an artist album in its own right. Although just the tip of the iceberg, ‘Shelf Life’ nonetheless put Bingethinkers squarely on the Aussie Hip Hop map, cementing their reputation as one of Sydney’s premier underground crews.
2007 also saw the Binge join forces with some more of Sydney's finest: Scott Burns and Thats Them, to form LookUP Productions. The LookUP name has quickly come to dominate the Sydney HipHop scene with a reputation for consistently throwing down the dopest parties parties on the regular such as Proper at UTS Loft Bar, LookUP at the Clare and KillaCombo at Taylors Central. Towards 2009 and LookUP are moving in the logical progression of officially launching LookUP Records with the 'LookUP in the Sky' mixtape and Scott Burns upcoming debut album 'Day 1', not to mention the release of the official Bingethinkers debut album! Dont be afraid to LookUp y'all! Booyah!
BIAS B - AEROSOL ERA - July 4th out through Wordburner/Obese Distribution.
Throughout the 80s and 90’s Melbourne experienced a graffiti explosion which quickly cemented the city in the history books for it’s influence on style and development of the graffiti art culture. Bias takes us on a journey back to his days growing up on the train lines with the infamous Wild Child Art crew, to the days he calls the Aerosol Era. Tracks that describe the often tumultuous life of a writer, like “Militant Mindstate,” “Another Day,” and “Racked That,” showcase the very personal and introspective nature of Aerosol Era through the eyes of one of Australian hip hop’s most influential poets. Featuring production by Jase, Bigfoot, Peril, Ransom, Ciecmate and Brothers Stoney and representing Melbourne’s most prolific graffiti crews DMA, WCA, USA, CTF, RDC, F1C, TSF, Hursty Boys and Brisbane’s DIE TBK and 750, Aerosol Era is an audio journal of the graffiti life as penned by Bias himself.

I finally finished up a project I have been working on closely with my homie DJ Trippin' over the past few months. The idea was to take a handful of my freestyles, studio tracks, and b-sides I've recorded over the last year and combine them all to a 1 track mix. All mixing, scratching, and juggling was performed by DJ Trippin'. The effort is available for high quality download by clicking the cover below!
