  • Bio

Self taught guitar player and singer/songwriter. Started playing originally with Harbhajjan Mann in the eighties. We performed hundreds of shows as a folk punjabi band. Started a group called Dal- Dil- Vog in the nineties with my brothers which gained international acclaim as a bhangara/rock band. Performed in a ton of gigs with artists like Jan Arden, Colin James ,5440 etc. As DDV we had 4 videos on muchmusic and one on MTV Asia. Started playing local coffee shop gigs as a duet in May of 2006 with Chris Dufault accompanying me on guitar and bg's, and long time friend Craig Burdes on percussion, and have not looked back since. Recently signed a publishing deal and recorded my first solo album which has just been released in September. For purchase info please visit website at www.ranjsingh.com. Album was produced by Wyckham Porteous and recorded at Greenhouse Studios in Vancouver over a span of 7 days using no loops samples and click. Man that was a blast! THE BAND HAS BEEN FORMED!! Chris and I would like to welcome Dan Huget on Electric Violin, Bojan Bugaronovic on Bass Guitar and Sitar, and David Eadie on percussion. These guys have taken the songs to a new level. After 22 years, it looks like a dream has come true. ........ ....Myspace Layouts.. at Pimp-My-Profile.com / ..Yin & Yang....
