Bio
(bink!) is a new, vibrant young band featuring the exciting combination of a trombone and alto saxophone frontline. Each musician brings individual influences and a unique approach to improvisation, resulting in an eclectic and distinctive sound. It began in September of 2010 as a project to bring close friends from different parts of the country together to start a band where each member has an equal input into not only the compositions themselves but also the creative process in which they are realised. Featuring Adam Jackson on alto saxophone, Richard Foote on trombone, John Lowrie on the drums and cymbals and Rob Anstey on bass, (bink!) are planning to go on a ‘mini tour’ of the UK and record their first album in the summer of 2011. -
