Hi I'm Binky. I'm a musician and an artist in general. I work in NYC as a nurse. I love it, but I'm always trying to find ways to just make a living off of being creative. It ain't workin out. :-p
I have a few Danelectro guitars and a Maton guitar, cuz I'm a big fan of Josh Homme from QOTSA. I collect crap and gear, and so I guess you could say I have a shopping addiction. I go on ebay and sort vintage electric guitars by time ending soonest, and I stare at it for hours on end. Guitar porn! Yeahhh!
I draw. And I posted some of my drawings and paintings up. I'm also getting into leather-crafting and tooling.
I waste every cent I make. So, I'm in the process of trying to put my money to good use and buy a house! Scary, and grown-up, but TRUE. I'm getting older and I need to get a house already!
I have a long time boyfriend and he wuvs me and I wuv him! ::Hurl!:: I admire him/am jealous of him because he works as an audio engineer and gets PAID for being creative. At a real studio! We're planning to have a home business together doing something creative.
I spend my time on the phone or the internet, but when I do go out, I like to [try to] skateboard, bike, and drive around. Barnes & Nobles and Target are places I frequent when I'm bored. Then there's the art store and guitar center for when I have my shopping addiction problems along with a creative bug!
