Add Subversive Element, coming out of Miles Davis and Weather Report, with DJ Gunslinger, raised on Aphex Twin and Future Sound of London, and the result is Biomechanique. Beginning with a year long residency at Gabor Csupo's Lumpy Gravy art gallery / restaurant / performance space, which evolved into other gigs that include appearances in Los Angeles at Spaceland and Luna Park, alongside Ole Madrid in San Diego; Biomechanique have defiantly both had an impact upon, and set the standards for the next generation of electronic musicians. Those who use computers now!
Since DJ Gunslinger has recently relocated to Io, a small moon orbiting the great planet of Jupiter; Biomechanique have redeveloped their original modus operundi. It is one in which, either member, rarely or occasionally, create "solo" bits and pieces (normally coinciding with major celestial shifts in their local planetary orbits, solar cycles, nebulii reconfigeration, NASA readjustments, to eventually coincide with math problems, or other such phenomena).
Silently, unashamedly, they continue their pursuit of the celestial resonance of the musical spheres out here in cyberspace; one which constantly re-encounters their previous idioms/orbits.
These bits and pieces, trajectively floating with some target in sight/mind, will eventually arrive at a destination, either before, or after, their initial departure.
And there's the rub!!!
Picturesque manifestations of soundwaves, reassembled from fragments, into different fragments or wholes; redispatched back into their original sources or recipients.
Thus, after bouncing off of Saturn's rings a few times, they are reconstituted into a cohesive whole, or a sum of its parts. Well, something like that!
