BIOS Records is a label with visions set in the 21st century and beyond. To show what we mean, BIOS is proud to present our newest vinyl release, BIOS006, which sets the scene for a 31st century showdown of funk in a true integration of man vs. machine.
The first side of this pressing sees BIOS headman and longtime established dnb bad man Amaning join ranks with another BIOS favorite and dancefloor killer, Bionic1. "Robotwars" sets us in a world of chaos with its foreboding samples and heavy driving basslines. Clean drums and tasteful edits round off these sounds to make Robotwars a song that man and android alike could easily find themselves doing the robot to on most any dancefloor.
The flip of this record welcomes back London's very own master of the deep, Squash. "Crawlers" is a spacey stepper that builds into a steady groove sure to make listeners begin sway. Bring your helmet because head nodding is definite side effect of these vibes. Technotroinc noises and the essential boogie vibe that BIOS seeks easily make this song a fine piece of cyberfunk for future minded listeners.
