My name is Matt St. John, and this is my music. Bipeds was a solo project I started a few years back while playing in my band Ameridon. As you can tell, these are some very stipped down, minimalistic sounding songs I recorded on my computer with my shitty recording software. The five songs here are an EP titled "Fluorescent", with a number of influences; many going back to the music I listened to as a kid. This is the first time I've made an attempt to write about my own life instead of the more fictional/narrative lyrics I wrote in Ameridon. While I hope the quality isn't too much of a distraction for you listeners, I've grown to really love these songs, despite their raw creation. I love getting comments on what people think, even if you think I suck, so feel free to let me know.
soon! I am writing and getting ready to start doing some playing and actually trying to have a musical career. Evan Haines and I did an awesome hour and half imrov album at Nick's apt last week, It's ridiculous. I think you will love it.
