Fresh from fall & winter touring that included the International Pop Overthrow Festival in New York City, Bipolar Star will be celebrating their independent self-titled CD debut Sunday, June 24, 2007 at the High Dive in Fremont (www.highdiveseattle.com). The band's no apologies Rock 'n' Roll, Glam, and Punk energy draw from influences like the Clash, Guided by Voices, and Cheap Trick. Classically trained as a vocalist, front man Rob Allison also moonlights on drums with Portland, Oregon's Silverhawk and has previously pounded skins for Olympia's Two Ton Boa. Rob is backed by Tim Cherry's assertive harmonies, and new band members (formerly of Ryewire) Keefe O’Neill on guitar, and Frans Laulainen on drums.
