"The more we know about wildlife and nature , the more we want to care for, protect, and enjoy it..."
The goal here is only to share our enthusiasm of wildlife and nature, and some of the wonderful experiences it provides for us, and hopefully allow insights into how fragile their natural resources have become, and are becomming more so every day.

I think mother nature provides us with some of the cutest , in the form of wildlife, so I am chief wildlife inspector, armed with a digital movie camera , tons of curiosity and a whole lot of patients! I am owner of Birdbits* certified wildlife habitat and care giver to hundreds of wildlife birds and critters . Birdbits habitat* is "home" to many local species of wildlife that reside here , as well as "rest area and refueling station" to many other birds and wildlife that drop in yearly while journying through the great south texas bird migrating trailways . I seemed to have slowed downed a little since I started the habitat over a decade ago, but the habitat never does. It still attracts alot of friends, nieghbors, and curious young minds, with all the different species of birds and critters . Corpus Christi, Texas has some of the best wildlife , avian and aquatic, in the world! So I am lucky to live nearby in a small town , and to see alot of rare wildlife (birds especially), that are attracted to this area.
I am just a nature and wildlife nut , with a big set of binoculars, exploring nature in a mini backyard habitat ...
Please come on over and wander through
All sounds of nature bring music to my ears, but bird songs are one of the sweetest forms that I know!
Other types of music I like include classic rock, soft rock, some hard rock, country, and more ... I go to live concerts whenever possible and got back stage passes to meet NickelBack for my 40th Birthday which was a 'way Cool' experience that I'll never forget!
Movies
When I was a child we had a projector movie called "Ringos' World", and it was all about the adventures of a racoon.
On show'n'tell days my mom would bring the film into school to share with the class because the teachers thought it was very educational.
It showed all sorts of wildlife creatures and situations that the critter encountered along his journey, from a racoons'view. Awesome time lapse effects made beautiful flower buds appear to burst out into fully opened blooms in seconds.
I watched this movie over and over , never tiring of it and I believe that perhaps it inspired the curiosity and deep care for nature and wildlife that has grown inside of me and made me who I am today. I believe that introducing the wonders of nature to our children could be one of the most important things we do. All nature and wildlife will depend on them for preservance and protection some day.

Heroes
My mom is my hero for sharing her love of life and teaching me to appreciate nature and wildlife. And for many wonderful experiences with various critters through out the most impressionable years of my life, which inspired me to cherish mother nature and all her wonderful creatures.
My husband and son are my heros for unselfishly giving up hours of time with them, that was spent filming and tending to natures wildlife, letting me be what I am, and giving me the bravery to stand up for what I believe in , even if it means standing out on a branch all alone sometimes ... (smile)
All the soldiers fighting for our freedom. And all organizations and individual people, who are fighting for our wildlife and nature, striving to rebuild, preserve, and protect our natural wonders and resources.
Americans consumed more than 31 billion liters of bottled water in 2006 – nearly 28 gallons for every man, woman, and child. Manufacturing all those bottles required 900,000 tons of plastic and emitted as much greenhouse gas as 500,000 cars! Trucking a bottle of water 500 miles can double its climate impact – and some are shipped much, much farther.
I enjoy being a voice for Wildlife and Nature, spending time with the critters in the habitat, exploring and filming. And although I am not a professional(far from it), I have recorded alot of wildlife, birds, nature, and migrations , prodominately in the South Texas Coastal area, but some from West Texas, Omaha Nebraska, Reno Nevada, Miami Florida, Mexico, and the Nassau and Co Co Cay Islands of the Bahamas as well.
I am an active supporter of many organizations, independent groups, and individual people, who are striving to rebuild, preserve, and maintain our wildlife and natural resources, habitats, trailways, flyways, and waterways. And am happy to be a part of this world wide crusade, knowing that for much of our wilderness, and natural resources, it is the only true hope for survival, and the only hope of future generations experiencing nature and wildlife as God intended it to be.
Some avian beauties I have been lucky enough to catch on film.
Who I'd like to meet:
All Nature and Wildlife Warriors - enthusists like me ! And along the way, I would like to meet all of 'Mother Natures' Feathered and Furried Friends' - in every size, shape, and form ... just to experience their beauty!

When our lives turn in an unanticipated and undesirable direction, sometimes we experience stress and anxiety. One of the challenges of this mortal experience is to not allow the stresses and strains of life to get the better of us—to endure the varied seasons of life while remaining positive, even optimistic. Perhaps when difficulties and challenges strike, we should have these hopeful words of Robert Browning etched in our minds: 'The best is yet to be' ("Rabbi Ben Ezra," in Charles W. Eliot, ed., The Harvard Classics, 50 vols. [1909–10], 42:1103).”
Be alert, be on watch! Your enemy, the Devil, roams around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour.
Be firm in your faith and resist him, because you know that other believers in all the world are going through the same kind of sufferings.
But after you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who calls you to share his eternal glory in union with Christ, will himself perfect you and give you firmness, strength, and a sure foundation. To him be the power forever! Amen.
