Who I'd like to meet: Birdhead is a group of artists who are forward thinking, eco-conscious and socially active. We use only American made products and support eco-friendly methods.
Birdhead is not only defined by its innovative style, but also for the messages behind the style. The highly refined, well thought out designs occasionally reveal devious yet humorous subliminal messages. These juxtapositions and sometimes abstract creations are often comments on modern culture, political picking, sociological ideology and sometimes simply pure form and humor. Through art we are able to expose the contradiction in life and in culture. There is no other art form that is more personal then fashion. Clothing can be one of the most personal and effective ways of expressing your individuality as a human being.

Lab Boston and Mimoco are joining forces on October 27th from 7pm-9pm to host the first ever Halloween vinyl toy design contest. Starting TODAY artists will have one week to submit an example of their artwork to info@lab-boston.com, in order to get a chance to compete in a Vimobot design contest. On October 11th eight of the submissions will be chosen to compete in an onsite design contest. The “Vinyl Massacre” will be a one-hour contest to see what artist can create the best Halloween “do-it-yourself “ Vimobot. Artist may use paint, markers, glue, and any other medium supplied to them" we say "Artist may use paint, markers, glue, which will be provided in addition to any optional supplies they bring with the exception of spray paint or pre-made decals. *Art supplies to be donated from Proletariat Boston*
