A Brief History of BFT
Founded in 1972, Birmingham Festival Theatre is the oldest theatre in Birmingham producing contemporary and classic theatre. It is managed by an all-volunteer board of directors. Since its founding, BFT has staged almost 200 productions – involving more than 50 directors, almost 1,000 actors and 500 crewpeople – attended by almost 100,000 audience members.

do you know when the auditions are for "fat pig"? are they coming up soon? i belive the show isnt until november, but i have been checking the bft website religiously awaiting the announcement of upcoming auditions. if you know of when they are, i would really appreciate it if you would let me know. thank you.
I miss BFT!!! It's been a year and a half since I've been in a show there. But, I always enjoy every show I see. The last one I saw was Acrobats and Line. Really great show. Hope to see plenty of the shows in the upcoming season! Love y'all!!!!
Thanks for commenting Tony! :) The auditions for the upcoming Park Players production of Romeo and Juliet were held at BFT. Romeo and Juliet is not a BFT show, although I hear great things about this production! Break a leg guys!
