Born in Fort Wayne, Indiana in to the Union of Suffragan Bishop E.C. and the late Evangelist Julia Haywood, Bishop Mark A. Haywood was raised in the tradition of Apostolic holiness.
God blessed Bishop Haywood to find his soul-mate at the young age of sixteen, he and Lady Krishana were married July 17th, 1999. To this union was born one daughter, Brianna.
Bishop Mark A. Haywood is often called an "old soul" because his understanding of the scriptures exceeds his own age and experience.
He faithfully served the ministry of Christ Temple Church of Fort Wayne under the leadership of his father, Suffragan Bishop E.C. Haywood, as an associate elder, Bible study teacher, Sunday school teacher, In Touch ministry leader, armor bearer, alter evangelist, choir member and drummer.
Bishop Haywood was ordained by the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World through the laying on of hands by his Diocesan, Bishop James E. Tyson, and the pastors of the the 4th Episcopal District (Apostolic Bible Students Association) of the P.A.W.
After laboring with the vision for more than three years, on June 14th 2005 Bishop Mark A. Haywood stepped out in faith, and with the blessing of his pastor, founded
Christ Kingdom Church
where "Christ is King, and life is conquered!".
In March of 2007 Bishop Haywood founded Kingdom Church International Fellowship, an apostolic organism centered in exalting the Lord Jesus Christ through mass evangelism campaigns and church planting. He was elected to the office of Bishop April 5, 2007 and consecrated by Bishop Jonathan Allen and Bishop Herbert Coats April 10, 2008.
Bishop Haywood now serves as Presiding Bishop and Chief Apostle of Kingdom Church International Fellowship.
Bishop Haywood has an awesome vision of ministry from the LORD and surely the LORD's greatest works through Pastor Haywood for the Kingdom of God lay in the future.
Certainly God has called Bishop Mark A. Haywood into the Kingdom for such a time as this.
