Weekly, every Wednesday. One Wednesday each month (usually the last in the month) is given over to a visiting artist or band, otherwise it's Blues Jams all the way. For the jams a complete back line is provided including good quality valve amplifiers.

There is no formal membership, just come along and enjoy. The 'BBC' Blues jams are open to anyone - audience and musicians - who enjoys making, sharing or listening to blues, funk, swing and R&B (with a bit of rock 'n roll thrown in for good measure!). If you're a musician and/or singer come along and join in.
The Bishops Blues Club is one of the longest established in the UK. It has been continuously operating since 1994 and has played host to top American and British names - Hubert Sumlin, Duke Robillard, Alvin Youngblood Hart, Popa Chubby, Michael Hill, Mick Abrahams, Matt Schofield and Ian Siegal to mention just a few. Recordings made at the club have been featured on BBC R2 and around the world. The tracks in the jukebox were all recorded at jam nights.
There's something every Wednesday. Usually it's a Blues Jam; but once a month there's a gig by a visiting band or solo artist (usually the last Wednesday of the month).
