BITE are a 4-piece experimental/rock band from Harlow. They formed when Ambs (Vocals/Guitar),
Jamie (Guitar) and Charlie (Drums) were involved in school gigs,
and realised they worked well together and formed a 3 piece band. However, after a few months they realised that they needed a bass player to move forwards with the music. After thinking long and hard about their options, one GCSE music lesson came,
and they decided Hevaa (Bass) to be the ideal person.
Since then, they have begun writing songs drawing influence from their favourite artists and musicians.
And then God said... ‘Let there be BITE!’ - lol cheeeese

Adam Sabatti - Pearfest 09 Review
BITE(*****) hit the audience with a sound like the spawn of Muse/Deftones. Singer Amber Cutler sounds like a crisp Brody Dalle piercing through the wall of sound created by her fellow band members. As they finish with a new song, Taste For Something, they leave the crowd wanting to get a taste of something more of them and with the talent they possess they can be something more.
Phil Dale
Drawing on the influence of their favourite artists like to create the material that this year, took them to the Square Rock Contest final with the highest audience vote of all 27 bands that entered.
Unlike many bands of their age and experience, they don't simply 'have potential' - they are already producing great music and yet are still improving with each show!
