    Mirland started out playing the drums in various metal bands. In '94 Mirland together with Lars 'Zwoo' Windeleff Jørgensen founded the industrial/noise outfit VHS and recorded The VHS Sessions which was released as a demotape with a comic and sold from various record stores locally. Since then Mirland has released music (noise, industrial, ambient, even clubby tracks) on the 'net under different names such as Messerschmitt, Berserker and Bitter. Lately Mirland just releases music as Mirland. Besides composing and mixing Mirland is a well reviewed painter with many exhibits.

    The vinyl reissue of the soundtrack from the last year same name DVD release on Der Angriff which was highly acclaimed by critics and audience. Being recorded to professional multichannel device and then carefully mixed and post-produced, these tracks from live performance made in October 2008 in Saint-Petersburg are surely one of the best neofolk live recordings ever and they surely deserve the right to see the daylight being pressed on wax. In addition to the DVD material, our edition also contains 4 tracks unavailable elsewhere which were used as overtures for Sonne Hagal live performances in various times.
