The Bitter Spirits, is a straight forward, no nonsense, from your belly to your bones rock band based out of New York City. The band formed over five years ago and have been creating their our own music since. Joe, Mark, Rich and Adnan forged their friendships while they were attending high school. It was their mutual love of music that brought them together as a band. They have been an independent band since then. Booking, promoting, and touring without the help of companies in the record industry. "Spirit of the Times", is the first single off their new record due out in 2009. The Bitter Spirits basic philosophy is, "No style of music is off limits as-long as it has been derived from true inspiration." The music and lyrics are reflections of the bands collective values and beliefs formed though the conversations they have had on many different topics. From war to relationships, good verses evil etc. The Bitter Spirits try to express themselves without pretense allowing them to just play kick ass rock n roll.
