mark wrote some songs and 4-tracked 'em, posted em on an angelfire free website, and consequently harassed people via AOL profile searches to listen to them. luckily, one of those profiles contacted belonged to jerry, who contacted mark about starting a band. eventually, mark,jerry, dan, and ed got together and played some shows. they recorded "same old story". they played some more shows. rob joined. they played some more shows. ed left. mark, jerry, rob, and dan recorded "4-song demo". bryan joined on bass, rob switched to guitar. played some more shows. mark, jerry, dan, rob, and bryan recorded "when we were young". rob left. mark, jerry, dan, and bryan toured florida for 2 weeks with three monkeys named bob. briefly broke up, re-uniting with rob to play much anticipated, unexpectingly large crowd at a NJ all-ages show, only to arrive and see Jersey's Finest shutting down the show due to drinking/fighting outside the show...thus quietly ending the career of burning in water drowning in flame...
