BIXBY has established themselves as one of the premiere live-performance bands on the West Coast by playing sold-out shows at venues like the Temple Bar in Santa Monica and the Great American Music Hall in San Francisco.
Those who appreciate the timeless versatility of groups like Fleetwood Mac or the widespread appeal of singer-songwriters like Ryan Adams or John Mayer will thoroughly enjoy exploring BIXBYs debut CD.
Their music has generally been described as Americana Pop Rock, but carries tinges of diverse influences to form a coherent, unique statement.
BIXBY has been featured on MTV's Real World, Road Rules, and the Challenge.
BIXBY has shared the stage with a variety of national acts, including Antigone Rising, Sara Bareilles, Justin King, The Makaha Sons, and Lovedrug. They have headlined national shows for organizations ranging from Music for America to the United Nations chartered Nuclear Age Peace Foundation.
BIXBYs debut CD was recorded in 2005 with veteran Producer/Engineer Brian D. Hardin (Ziggy Marley, India Arie, Young Buck, Tenacious D). Brian has been the Principal Engineer or Producer of over 120 RIAA Certified Gold Records.
The album has already garnered significant attention with regional press, radio, and web critics alike. BIXBYs song Make Believe has been featured on the Hooman Radio Show on ALICE 97.3FM, San Francisco; their song Westbound to Heaven is currently in rotation on KPIG 107.5FM, Santa Cruz; theyve also performed multiple songs on air, including Icarus on Matt McAllisters morning show on KTYD 99.9FM, Santa Barbara.

We too live where the best surf in England is, very near The Lands End, Cornwall, I was manager of Skewjack Surf Village at Sennen in the 70s - I was a child! Now ranching has eluded me, but there is still time, I rode a horse once and wet myself in terror, so haven't been tempted again! Love your music, my son is in the band iPony, and recently played at our Surfstock Festival(you can hear it if you follow the link in my friends, he is the singer, and we have a great live music scene here that we follow - we are a very laid back County, but we love to dance.
