But whats in a name?
Too many cigarettes, adult videos, cups of tea and novelty fishtank adornments later, Aaron, Blythe, Daisy and Dave (respectively) produced one and then two E.P's via the magic of recorded sound. Shameless commercial prostitution yeilded little to no result and as so Bizali can still be found roaming the darkest, seediest corners of the Bristol (and Avon) music scene. Live Review - Hatchfest (May 2006):
...The taste sensation of Hatchfest was Bizali. Four young students, they performed with the assurance and skill of seasoned players while having as much fun as the delighted crowd. Their original material blends soul and pop marinated in jazz and underpinned by super-smart drum and bass playing that effortlessly slips between funk and swing. They recalled the Pointer Sisters at times, with vocalist Blythe Pepino milking each song to the max. Theyre playing at Mr Wolfs on 20th of May and you should seriously try to catch them. - Venue Magazine
