About the band:
Bizali have been a gigging foursome since 2004. With festivals such as Glastonbury, Latitude, Larmer Tree and Hong Kong’s ‘Clockenflap 2008’ under their belts, having represented England in the ‘Global Battle of the Bands’ at the grand ‘Astoria’ and featured on a BBC comedy show ‘The Wrong Door’ they have a number of impressive achievements to brag about. But Bizali are not interested in the past anymore, their focus is solely on the future; their new album 'Dance Yourself Alone' and fresh new sound.
The New Album ‘Dance Yourself Alone’
Written to the back drop of the bands double edged heartache this album is an emotional roller coaster of vulnerability and blind rage. Sparse electronic beats build to blow out rock sections propelled by harrowing vocals that punch, soar and glide telling their story with all its twists and turns. It is the musical document of a year of personal revolution. The album was recorded at Jim Barr’s j&j studio (Portishead, Goldfrapp), mixed by Tom Brookhouse (Scott Matthews’ ‘Passing Stranger’) and mastered by Shawn Joseph at Optimum.
Current Activity
Alongside the album Bizali are preparing for their mammoth launch event on the 19th of June at Fiddlers, Bristol (see below). Working with Venue magazine they are planning an edition for the 10th of June that will include a front cover spread, feature, review of the album and preview of the launch as well as a four track sample CD giveaway to put the album well and truly in the consciousness of the South West. The band are also promoting themselves at street level with innovative publicity stunts, the next in the form of a flash mob/street performance (see below). As well as this they have commissioned an animated music video for the albums first track 'Users and Thieves' which is now available to watch from their myspace page www.myspace.com/bizali.

Hello, after an unfortunate hiatus, the reasons for which are probably best not gone into here, we finally have some new music on the AUK MySpace site. For your listening pleasure this month we offer Nathan Oliver, Conrad Ford, the irrepressible Todd Snider and the delightful Beccy Owen. Don't forget too, for those of you within striking distance of Leicester, Electric Dustbowl 2 on 19 September.
I just wanted to stop by to say hello and give you a little update on what Blood Root Mother is up to! We will be recording an EP of new music in August, and we recently finished recording a live DVD. The DVD is currently unreleased and I actually just saw it for the first time a few days ago. It features the last two performances with Tony Ellis still alive, and some footage from the tribute show we played on the night of his funeral.
There are some cool covers, as well as some NEW music that will be on our upcoming EP. We're very excited about the new music and we'd like to share a sneak peak with you. Here's a video of a new tune called Run Bobby Run:

Please submit your artist news and events to CountryHome Forum to help your artists to get well known better in Europe. I know that many artists from North America don't have their music videos uploaded to German video websites. The most popular websites are MyVideo.de and ClipFish.de. That means your European audience does not have the chance to find them.
I understand that most of you don't speak German and are not able to upload videos because of the language barrier. If you would like me to upload your videos to the German video websites, please let me know.
Thanks
Christian
