Mike Sulu were able to establish itselves with their brilliant digital releases (Bacteria Records) at the electronically oriented audience. "Insects On Ice" - their first vinyl release - stands before. Soft deep chords are in correspondence with synth fragments. Short, minimal melody arms turn slightly out to the tribal touch of the original songs. The bongos are the forefront. A real voyage of discovery! But this is only after repeated listening revealed to the audience!
Bjoern Nafe turns with his remix towards BIG FLOOR! The classic electro elements, 4/4 beats and a fat bass run are steadily built until every branch on the tree is sawed off! Unlike the original Bjoern Nafe has removed all tribal elements. At the beginning of the track a warm bass wave awaits you, which is up to the middle of the track rather modest, but then there is no more "sitting still" for the audience!

Our homeboy Bjoern Nafe graduates to the ever dependable german 38db Tonsportgruppe imprint with his very first own production entitled 'Lost In Frequency'. A nearly seven-minute long electro tech groover that will cause some serious floor madness with its tasty combination of a slight trancey melody over tight kicking beats paired with delicious clicky percussions and an unmistakable atmosphere. On first side it is all about the remixers, kicking off with Markus Lange, the guy who brought us that incredible floor weapon 'Ruhest&246;rung Plattenbau' on Craft Music in 2006, followed by Leevey on a2. Lange's version tightens up all essential elements of the Original but by adding some noizy, almost ravey sounds, darker atmospheres and a monster punch he turns the whole affair into a typically pushing anthem, we all love so much. Leevey supplies a very cool and stripped version which makes this 12inch complete and a must have for the whole electro tech minimal community. A fantastic debut for our buddy Bjoern including a quality choice of remixes. Congratulations !!! Voices Tip !!!
