Hi John. How are you? Hope you enjoyed your summer. I'm putting on a back to school concert at the Marshalltown Court House square called FARM Fest, which stands for Friends, Art, Recreation, and Music. It is Saturday, August 29th from 4-10, and there are 4 live bands and lots of fun activities, games, raffles, contests, food, crafts, vendors... It has been a while! I usually go in to a "musical hibernation" during the winter. But come spring, I emerge, hungry for some live gigs and I've got a lot of farmer's markets scheduled. It'll be good to see ya again, sometime soon!
Culture Inc. will be hosting a reception for artist James Goetz, March 21st from 1:00-3:00 p.m. and 5:30-7:30 p.m. During the reception Rachel Rockwell and artist James Goetz will briefly be sharing the amazing realistic and measurable what impact the arts have on at-risk youth.
