MySpace a place for friends

I started making T-Shirts and stuff for my son and niece to help people identify them and it has turned into a full blown business. I have the "Peanut-Free Princess" line of stuff that was inspired by my niece who is definitely a princess. The there is my "Cool Kids" line of stuff such as "No Peanuts For This Cool Kid" & "Cool Kids Carry Their Epi Pens, Just Like Me" to help kids want to promote their food allergies and not be ashamed of having them. I don't ever want my son or niece to not bring their epi pen with them when they get older because they are embarassed about their food allergy. My stuff that I created is a fashionable way of letting people know they can't eat something.

"AMBLYOPIA" according to "Prevent Blindness" at www.preventblindness.org says that "Amblyopia" is reduced vision in an eye that has not received adequate use during early childhood.

When my son was first diagnosed with Amblyopia at the age of two I didn't know what it was. I was just told to keep his glasses on him and have him wear an eye patch for three hours a day or he could loose his vision in his left eye. Terrified I went home and attempted to have him wear the eye patch which he ripped off after just 30 seconds. After much frustration I came up with the idea for "THE EYE PATCH KIDS" DVD. It worked so well for him. He absolutely loved it. I had no more trouble patching him, I would just put on the DVD and that was that. Then after much research I realized that there were alot of other kids out there that were having trouble patching also so I ended up starting a company to sell them to other parents and it has been a huge hit. I have been receiving emails from parents around the world telling me what a blessing it has been for them. You see, "THE EYE PATCH KIDS" DVD is designed to help encourage children to wear an eye patch for vision problems such as Amblyopia (Lazy Eye), Strabismus or Cataracts. Throughout the DVD the puppets are encouraging the child watching to put on their eye patches to be like them.

The words are also listed underneath the songs so the kid's can learn them and sing along with the puppets.

Along with the songs there is also an "EYE PATCH PROMISE" that the child makes with the puppet to promise to keep their eye patches on until their Mommy or Daddy tell them to take the patch off. It's a great way to take the pressure off of the parent by having the child make a promise with the puppet to keep the eye patch on.
