On Discovering A Fire is the debut album by Danish-born singer-songwriter, B Kristiansen forthcoming on new independent label, 'Ant & B Music' (release date tbc). Recorded and produced by Tony Global & B Kristiansen at Hedley Park, Nottingham. Twelve acoustic (urban folk?) & electric alt-country/pop songs conjure up images of childhood in Denmark, growing-up, love, loss and life. Thanks to some very talented musicians and groovy vintage kit, we've aimed to produce an album that evokes the spirit of simpler times. The song 'Matthew' is dedicated with love to our friend, Matthew Jay, who is greatly missed (see http://www.crookedsmile.com).
