Black Thomas is the ultimate triple threat in acting, dancing and singing. A native of Miami, Florida, he attended high school at the renowned New World School of the Arts and earned a BA in Theatre from Florida A&M University.

Disney’s box office blockbuster "Step Up 2 the Streets" gave Black his breakout turn starring as bad boy antagonist ‘Tuck’. This character gave him the opportunity to showcase both his acting chops and dancing skills. "It was a pleasure to be a part of a project which focused on entertaining the hip-hop generation. Impacting the lives of other people is what I enjoy most."

Black has made appearances in other feature films, including "Stomp The Yard," "Dreamgirls," and "I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry". In addition, he has been featured in major print/television campaigns for K-Swiss, Target and Wal-Mart.

He has been featured in music videos for Lil Wayne, Mario, Danity Kane, Beyonce, Cheetah Girls, Rihanna, Fall Out Boy, Natasha Bedingfield and performed live with Chris Brown, Jessica Simpson, The Pussycat Dolls, and Fonzworth Bentley, to name a few.

Black has danced for renowned choreographers Chuck Maldonado, Fatima, Jamaica, Fly, Dave Scott, Rich & Tone, Hi Hat, Frank Gatson, and Jamal Sims.

As an assistant choreographer, Black has lent his talents to television shows such as "That’s So Raven," "Just Jordan," "CSI: New York" and "Randy Jackson Presents: America’s Best Dance Crew". Black will be contributing choreography to the new Nickelodeon television series "The Jump Arounds".

Black Thomas has a bright future ahead of him. He will next be seen in the feature film "Pastor Brown" which was directed by Rockmond Dunbar and co-stars Nicole Ari Parker, Tasha Smith and Keith David. Black is currently in production on the new Chris Stokes film entitled "Boogie Town" playing opposite Marques Houston, and recently wrapped a horror film called "Detention". Next up he's gearing up for his lead role in "The Jump Off" (choreographed by Shane Sparks) which co-stars Wayne Brady. Additional film and television appearances coming soon.
