Hey Michael,
thanks again for your story in Vibe Magazine on the DeBarge family last year.
This Friday it will 32 years ago that I arrived in Grand Rapids, Michigan from Hamburg/Germany to meet Greg Williams at the airport and than went to Mansfield, Ohio (above Inlay in Smash - The Roots of Switch and DeBarge CD - Mansfield, Ohio Jan. 1977). Switch signed with Motown Records in May 1977.
The Smash album has history for Swirch and DEBarge.
See my blog on TVONE's Unsung DeBarge

Man ... "Cane" is no joke, LOL ... All I know is I can't wait to get in class tomorrow and see what my prof has to say about it. It has me thinking hard though, especially after reading up on his background.
This should be interesting!
