The three man army is made up of Andreas Avelin (drums), Joen Carlstedt (guitar, bass, vox) and Martin Eriksson (vox, guitar, bass).

Like almost everything worth anything, Black Belt was born by accident. Starting a band was never the plan but when six jam sessions had produced six cool songs back in the winter of 2002 it was obvious that Andreas, Joen and Martin had gone from being just friends to in fact being a rock trio.

September 1:st our 1:st single, Dare To Lick (Hunter's Red Sleeve), from our upcoming album SILENT REVOLUTION,was released and is available on iTunes but also on our MySpace of course!
The album will be released October 1:st and later that month we go on tour in Germany with The Movements.
