IGN AU and Ubisoft Australia with the support of sponsors Sony Ericsson welcomed more than 350 eager readers to The Oxford Arts Factory in Sydney to go hands-on with the hugely anticipated Assassin’s Creed II game for PS3 and Xbox 360. The turnout was the largest ever for the IGN AU event series, with ticketholders snapping them up within hours of the registration opening. A night of gaming, free drinks, prizes and laughs was shared with a diverse crowd on the night. Narayan Pattison, Editor-in-Chief of IGN AU, closed the night out with prize giveaways, including a PS3 console and copies of Assassin’s Creed II, while every attendee walked away with money-can’t-buy time with one of the hottest games of 2009. We've been trying to do one there for a while now (hell, I'm always looking for excuses to come to Melbourne), but just haven't had the right fit. Once we can team up with a Melbourne-based publisher who has just the right game, we'll do it. Feel free to weigh in with suggestions for titles - check out the Q1 2010 releases on IGN and let us know.

After an almost 9 month hiatus it was good to see BB back again at a familiar venue with Wolfenstein is was great to catch up with the IGN crew as well as the IGN Ambassadors and fellow gamers... Great stuff guys and excellent hospitality shown during the evening would love to catch up with you all again for a drink or 2 :)
