« Du chaos naît l’ordre » dit-on. Dans le cas de Black Bomb A, il semblerait que ce soit tout au moins l’unité qui naisse du chaos… Car alors que ce groupe approche de ses quinze ans d’existence, on ne peut que constater combien son parcours est jalonné de bouleversements. Changements de labels d’abord : exit Mon Slip et bienvenu chez At(h)ome, qui héberge déjà Lofofora, Mass Hysteria, Aqme ou Sleeppers (excusez du peu). Mais surtout changements de personnel, puisque Djag (l’un des deux chanteurs fondateurs) revient dans le groupe en 2007, après cinq ans d’absence, suite au départ d’Arno. En 2008, BBA se retrouve à cinq, comme sur le premier EP, et compose un cinquième album qui revient « aux fondamentaux du groupe ». Retrouvant son producteur fétiche Stéphane Buriez, le combo renoue avec l’unité et la motivation qui faisait sa force originelle. Une nouvelle symbiose qui fonctionne à plein régime dans ce bouillonnant From Chaos, où le désormais quintet revient à un style plus épuré et direct, tout en y incorporant quelques sonorités nouvelles. Si ce disque marque donc le grand retour de son duo de chanteurs originel Poun et Djag (et de son chant rauque old-school), From Chaos, plus qu’un retour aux sources, est surtout un disque intense et viscéral, « plus live et instinctif ». Plus hardcore-punk que metal, à la différence de son prédécesseur One Sound Bite to React (2006), il témoigne à nouveau de la ténacité et de la sincérité d’un combo qui n’a jamais lâché l’affaire. Après des milliers de kilomètres de bitume, des hectolitres de sueur, des tonnes de décibels et de nuages de poussière écarlate, après des centaines de concerts explosifs et flamboyants en France comme à l’étranger, la créature Black Bomb A est plus vivante, plus vibrante que jamais ! Telle une mèche allumée, la route du groupe repart de plus belle, emmenant avec ferveur cette nouvelle bombe prête à exploser à la face à un public toujours respecté. Attention : le chaos organisé des Black Bomb A arrive dans une avalanche furieuse d’ondes sous pression… Rendez-vous dans le pit ! Christophe Lorentz

“From Chaos” says one is born the order. In the case of Black Bomb A, it would seem that it is at least the unit which is born from chaos… Because whereas this group approaches its fifteen years of existence, one can only note how much its course is marked out upheavals. Changes of labels initially since they arrive to At(H)ome (distibution Wagram), which lodges already Lofofora, Mass Hysteria, Aqme or Sleeppers (no small teams !). But especially changes of personnel, since Djag (one of the two singers founders) returns in the group in 2007, after five years of absence, following the departure of Arno. In 2008, BBA is back to five, as on the first EP, and composes a fifth album which returns to “fundamentals from the group”. Once again with its fetish producer Stephan Buriez, the combo returns to the unity and the motivation which made its original force. A new symbiosis which functions with full strength in this bubbling “From Chaos”, where from now on the quintet returns to a style more purified and direct, while incorporating some new sonorities in it. If this record thus marks the great return of its original duet of singers Poun and Djag (and of its raucous old-school song), From Chaos, more than a return to sources, is especially an intense and visceral record, more “live and instinctive” Punk-hardcore than metal, unlike its predecessor: One Sound Bite to React (2006). It testifies again to the tenacity and the sincerity of a combo which never released its aim. After thousands of kilometers of bitumen, hectolitres of sweat, tons of decibels and clouds of scarlet dust, after hundreds of explosive and blazing concerts in France like abroad, the Black Bomb A creature is more alive, more vibrating than ever! As a lit wick, the road of the group sets out again of more beautiful, taking along with enthusiasm this new bomb ready to explode in front of an always respected public.
