andrew epstei - drums, vocals.

nick metzar - bass, guitars, vocals.
Influences
modest mouse, interpol, the arcade fire, wolf parade, morrissey, mogwai, mc kanada and dj philip magnavox, the passions of youth and long suburban winters
dan and nick have been making music of varying styles and quality in upstate new york since high school. never quite managing to put together a full-time band or make a public debut, they are best represented by this, their 6th project. this time they are joined by the drumming talents of andrew from new york city, who was recruited on the basis that he could name the drummer from interpol and was the first person not to mention 'tool' as his primary influence. as it turned out he was also pretty good. now working men, nick and dan revisited their recent past in the university practice room andrew set up whilst writing songs and searching for the perfect singer. as the clock wound down and it became obvious it would remain a party of three, long nights were spent finishing songs and scribbling lyrics which nick and andrew would share the singing duties on. as soon as the ball was rolling and the EP was finished, dan immediately left the country to live another life as an english teacher in china, where he now resides, and black cab's music was posthumously distributed to its eager fans.
Darling the UK has better everything....I'm generalising I've never been to china or whereever you come from most likely not here since you visited here. O isn't my logic just spectaculer.
yellow! nice tunes...
china, i had someone come over from there and stay at my house briefly once...i don't remeber why. But they did have an epilectic fit randomly. Childhood memories are so selective.
Hello,
We found you because we were looknig for bands that were playing at the other festival. Did dan really become a teacher in China?
Anyway I like your tunes a lot, keep it up!
