Formed in 2007, the influences of artists such as Depeche Mode, Prince and Donna Summer can be found in Black Cherry's music. Black Cherry are a fusion of dance, rock and electro; compromising of stories of love, sadness, laughter, death and new journeys. London based Black Cherry are lead singer and DJ Megane Quashie and producer Gui Fraisse with a little help from their friends. They have performed multiple times at Glastonbury Festival, V Festival, The Great Escape Festival and Rockness festivals to name but a few Having toured extensively throughout Europe and America, appearing at SXSW Festival by invitation twice and CMJ New York City. Expect to hear the sounds of Black Cherry at summer festivals and across the airwaves in 2012.
