Black Coffee's Blurbs |
About me:
Black Coffee was a goth-centric event in Phoenix, Arizona. It began 14 February 2006 at the CounterCulture Café, and ended Halloween 2007, due to the closure of its second venue, the Sub-Culture Café. It was started by DJ Æternum and darksouldealer, who resigned in February 2007, but who was back for the October 2007 Black Coffees. Black Coffee was very happy to have been host to The Crüxshadows, Ego Likeness and Ayria in January 2007. The local bands Ashengrace, Reliquary, Screaming Shiva, Alter Der Ruine and Dust Is Noise all played Black Coffee at some point, and a great many local DJs graced our soundwaves as well. Black Coffee prided itself on being a free, all ages outlet for Goth, Darkwave, Ethereal, Old-School Industrial/EBM, New Wave, etc...
At this point, there is no plan to re-open Black Coffee.
