Black Curtain New Zealand's Interests

Black Curtain hits Dunedin!

Hoyts Octagon, 20th February

In one of the busiest weeks of Dunedins University year Black Curtain came into town for the first time to provide a FREE screening of Hayden Christensen’s new film Jumper in advance of the film’s release. Prizes were given out to the first to join the queue at this exclusive screening at Hoyts Octagon. Prizes to the lucky few included including Jumper digital watches, posters and caps as well as some awesome MySpace merchandise.

In Jumper, Hayden Christensen plays David Rice who always believed he was perfectly ordinary - until he accidentally discovered he possessed a "talent" that is nothing less than extraordinary. David is a "JUMPER" who can teleport see twenty sunsets in one night, whisk his girlfriend around the world in the blink of an eye, and grab millions of dollars in a matter of minutes. But David's global odyssey takes a deadly turn when finds himself relentlessly pursued by a secret organization sworn to kill Jumpers. Forming an uneasy alliance with another Jumper, David becomes a key player in a war that has been raging for thousands of years. As these world-changing events unfold, David begins to discover the secrets and mythology behind his incredible ability.

Thanks again to Fox and Hoyts Octagon. Keep an eye on this space to see what the next MySpace Black Curtain film will be.

Jumper is in cinema’s now! www.jumpermovie.co.nz

Great opportunity to preview an interesting movie. Be prepared that it is not purely comedy, as my sister mistakenly believed when she saw it upon general release. It defies genre description - part poignant drama, part comedy, part farce in a way. More of an indie-feeling film. Just so you don't go to it expecting a bulk standard british or u.s. comedy. I really enjoyed it, with all the twists and turns - and great cameos.

Dang now I feel like a total moron for not making it, I was sure it would be a mob scene and wasn't up for waiting in the cold and not getting in anyway. :( Guess I'll *pay* for it!

Transformers - Well this would have to be one of the best movie's I've seen in a while.

Action, humor and comedy all in one. nicely all rolled into place. good references to common phrases used everyday as well.

My work has already booked out two movie theaters for next week.

Awesome!!!
