Since childhood I’ve been obsessed with puppets and dolls in film. As a young child I remember seeing the Twilight Zone Episodes The Dummy and The Living Doll and from that moment on I’ve tried to collect every film out there featuring dolls. Then in 1984 at the tender age of 14 I rented Chester Turner’s Black Devil Doll From Hell and I was scarred for life... Here is my list of favorites evil puppet/toy/doll films. (admittedly some of these suck ass and are guilty pleasures) All of these inspired our new film in one way or another:
